We offer genuine handmade wood tables. These tables are very sturdy and made of solid wood, weighing around 150lbs and upwards of 500lbs for the larger ones. Our tables offer stunning stability and make for great conversation pieces, guaranteed! The legs and/or bases are all detachable for easy moving and are adjustable to compensate for uneven floors. We offer delivery and set-up within the Chicagoland area and throughout the country. This tool will take you through our standard options and what to consider when designing your custom table. Often times the shape of the room dictates your table shape. Longer, more narrow rooms tend to work well with rectangle/oval. Square room often pair well with round/square tables.
We build our tables down to the inch which means you can specify your exact specs. It is HIGHLY recommended to measure your space and with the sizing/spacing recommendations listed below, lay out the intended size using Painter's Tape, blankets, cardboard, etc. as is a very beneficial visual representation. We typically factor about 24" of space per person and suggest leaving a minimum of 36" from the edge of your table to the wall, buffet, etc. This will allow for people to squeeze by while someone is seated. Play with the size and take into account how you use the space and traffic-flow. For estimate purposes we've broken down the sizes, but keep in mind, you can vary from these.
The bases are a large element of the overall table design and feel, because of this, we offer a large variety of styles. We offer wood and metal pedestals and variety of four leg styles. Select your prefrerred base style: wood, metal, or a four leg table.
Bases under the table, typically one per side, is what we consider our pedestal design tables. Most all designs focus on leg/chair room which means they are pushed in from the heads of the table and are thinner in the middle which means more overall functionality.
For a square table, there is typically one pedestal in the middle. Most all our designs focus on leg/chair room for functional movement. Depending on the design, we can do either a square platform at the floor or feet.

The overall look is comprised of several different details that can impact the visual weight, formal-look, or more casual in style. Walk through each option below and pick your preferred. There's no right or wrong. Just personal preference!
We offer different levels of distress that changes the overall look and feel of a table. The levels range from none to heavy distress. For a formal design we suggest no to minumal distress. For a more informal design, the distress can range. As you will see below, adding grooves to a table top can change the look of a table. View our examples below.
*Note: much distressing beyond a medium/heavy will become less practical for a low-maintenance design.

Cannot be done on a round or oval table.
Rectangular & Square Tables - A rolled edge allows the look of a thicker top without it actually being that thickness all the way through and lessens the overall weight of the table. With this option, we can roll the edge to any thickness up to 3.5" thick.
Round & Oval Tables - We cannot do a rolled edge for these shapes, but do offer an extra thick top at 2.25" thick.
Pedestal style tables do not need an apron. It's largely just aesthetic, but four leg tables DO require an apron.
The cross brace is simply a design aesthetic for our rectangular and oval tables. The cross brace does not apply to round tables. Square, it may be an option depending on size and one/two pedestals. Whether or not there is a cross brace does not affect the integrity of the table’s structure. Some customers like to personalize their tables and thus engrave their cross brace.
This style does not get a cross brace.

Wood species and stain color come hand in hand as each wood has its tendencies to what stain color looks and works best.
We stick strictly with the harder wood species for optimum durability.
Imported from Europe, our finish, is the best on the market. Known for its durability in fighting water and heat marks, household chemicals, and simple day to day use, it pairs well with our choice of hardwoods.
Choose this option if you have an existing piece of furniture or home decor item that you would like us to match.
We offer three different kinds of leaves: standard extentions, perimeter, and drop-in. Each offer different solutions depending on the table shape. The three variations are broken down as sizing and pricing will vary. Please keep in mind this is a general cost idea and you can select custom sizing on these.
*Prices listed are for a thick top and does not include the price increase for extra thick tops, hollowed out bottoms, etc.
Two leaves of this size adds seating for 1 person per side.
*This style leaf is for rectangular tables and attach at the ends. Note, they store separately.
*If wanting to add a leaf to a standard four leg table, the best solution is to add minimum 1-24″ leaf to one end, allowing enough space to add 2 people while preventing the need to maneuver around table legs.
We offer drop-in leaves for round tables. You can choose one or two. When the leaves are not in, there will be a seam down the middle of the table. The leaves are stored separately. The size noted is one of our standard sizes to give an idea on cost, but per all our products, you can specify the size.
Reminder: This is an estimate. Exact details, size, wood species, etc. will impact cost.
*For smaller size tables, the track mechanism underneath the table may be visible. With that said, some prefer an apron under the top to hide that mechanism. This will be additional cost.
This style leaf only applies to round table. This allows the table to extent while maintaing the round shape.

Seating needs will depend on your table size, desired look, and even preference as to the kind of seating you'd like. We offer benches, wood, and fabric chairs with around 200 different style options. The style options are not reflected below as this tool is just for estimate purposes. ***Keep in mind, most of the chair styles can come with arms, as bar stools, and most of the wood chairs have the option to add an upholstered seat.
