Recent Delivery: Custom Hickory Table With Metal Arched Base
While our specialty is wood, we can also work with metal for customers who want to add a distinctive look to their tables.
We recently custom designed and built a metal base table with a matching bench. The customer requested wood boards with color variation and contrast, so we started there. Made of hickory, this table has a thick top, 1 ⅝ – 1 ¾, and is 72”x40”x30 in size.
Some more distinct features of the table are the cross brace and the added weld and grind marks that add character and individuality. We also added quite a bit of distress, with a distress level of 4 – 5 on the top of the table. Black shadow rub out and a natural wavy edge was also added to give it a more rustic look.
The customer chose our house provincial color and the table is finished in a flat clear finish to protect it and ensure it won’t be
dented, scratched, or affected by spills.
The metal arched base is a natural steel finish with a grayish tone. The bench was also built with a metal base that mirrors the base of the table, completing the look.
This was a unique build and we had a lot of fun collaborating with the customer to bring their vision to life!
