Recent Delivery: Large Square Table With Custom Legs

06/06/2017

At Rustic Elements Furniture, our goal is to create furniture our customers will love and cherish for years to come. That’s why we work with you every step of the way to design and build custom furniture that reflects your style, needs, and vision.

We enjoy working on unique one-of-a-kind pieces and recently built a custom wood table that was a bit different from the typical request.

The customers came to Rustic Elements Furniture looking for a unique, oversized table that would fill their large space and reflect their style. They even put a steel support beam in their floor to be able to accommodate a heavy table – and that’s exactly what we built for them. We estimate the tabletop alone weighs around 600 lbs!

After brainstorming with them and sketching out the design and look of the table (as pictured above), we set to work building a custom large square table that brought their vision to life. Made of all solid ash wood, this table is 90” x 90” x 30” in size and features a 4 leg design. Each of the legs are 8 inches and were custom designed and carved. The square shape of the table, paired with the thick legs, make it a unique design for an oversized table.

We stained the table in our Prado color and added black shadowing and rub out, to give it a more distressed and casual look. We then added a flat clear finish to protect the table. The customers also chose our Corbin Chairs, with brown leather and dull black nail heads to complete their dining set.

We worked with the client through every step of the process, showing them our initial sketches and tweaking them for their adjustments, until the table was built to their complete satisfaction. We pay special attention to the details to ensure the finished product is a table we are proud of and one our customers fall in love with.

We recently delivered this one-of-a-kind traditional square table to their home in Barrington Hills, where it fits perfectly in its new space. Browse the photos below to see how it looks in its new home!
